By using the Mnet service, you are agreeing that you have read and understood the following:
1. Mnet Website Set-up & Marketing
The Set-up is $299.00. It includes 5 hours of setting up the look, layout, pictures and text in your website and setting up your website marketing. You don’t have to use all of the 5 hours right away. Any un-used hours are credited to your account.
2. Pointing Your Domain Name
We register a new domain name for you or transfer your old domain name. New registrations are $20.00 for one year. Transfers are $20.00 and extend the expiration on your domain by one year. We manage your domain, point it at your website and renew it for you each year. The $20.00 per year fee includes 20 email addresses @ your domain. You can point your domain yourself if you want to (at no charge), please talk to our Support department for details.
3. Website Marketing
Once your domain name is pointed, we submit your website to the major search engines and directories, work with you to get other websites linking to yours and show you other strategies for getting the best results on the search engines. Next, we figure out one or two phrases that potential customers might be searching for on the search engines. The Mnet Search Report will show you how well your website is doing on the search engines when someone searches for those phrases. Read more about website marketing.
4. Mnet Hosting
The hosting package is $19.95/month or $200.00/year if you pre-pay for 12 months. We give you the first month free so we can have time to get your website set up, domain name pointed, and get your website out to the search engines. If you are locked in to a hosting contract with your previous provider, just send us a copy of your old invoice and we will give you hosting for free until that contract expires. You can login to your Mnet control panel anytime to make updates to your pictures and information, manage your email accounts, and review the Traffic Report and Search Report.
5. Ongoing Service
We check in with you every 3 or 4 months to see if we can help with any updates, review your Mnet Search Report with you, show you new features we have developed, and just make sure that everything with your website is going great. You can send us any updates that you need throughout the year. Two hours of data entry and design updates per year are included with the Mnet hosting package.
We accept credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) for set-up, monthly or yearly charges. You can pay by cheque for set-up charges, yearly charges, and 12 months of pre-paid hosting. If fees are more than 30 days overdue your account is automatically suspended. If an account is over 60 days overdue, the account is closed.
You can cancel your service at any time with 15 days notice in writing (email, fax, mail). The information on your website and your domain name belongs to you. You can create a copy of the data and pictures and take over the management of your domain name at any time. Please note that we can not provide a refund for pre-paid services.
We also want to make sure you understand you are responsible for all information on your website. We work very hard to provide a great service, fantastic support, a bug-free and secure system, and virtually no downtime, but we can not provide any warranties or guarantees about the software or the services provided including the website marketing.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time and to refuse service for any reason (we will provide 30 days notice by email).
