A Page in an Mnet website can be words and pictures, a form, an image gallery, a news blog, a chart of information, or a section or item in a catalogue.
We have described all of the types of Pages that Mnet supports below - why they are useful on a website, what information goes in them, and the limits on how little or how much information they need to work well for visitors and search engines. |
Introduction (Home Page)
This is the Home page of your website - the first page visitors see when they get to your website. For the benefit of your visitors - and the search engines - the Home page should have a summary of what your business does, who your customers are, and what your service area is. The Home page can also have information about your specialties and what sets your company apart from the competition. It's always a nice touch to add pictures to any web page. You can provide a few pictures, or choose from our stock images.
Contact Page
This page gives your visitors all the information they need to contact you or find your business if you have one or more retail locations. The contact page will have any or all of the following: Company Name, Address(es), Telephone Number(s), Toll-Free Number(s), After-Hours/Emergency Number(s), Fax Number(s), Email Address(es), Map(s), Business Hours, Directions to your location(s), a simple Contact Form, picture(s) of your location(s). |

Gallery
Mnet can create a Picture Gallery on your website automatically. You can upload a bunch of pictures and choose how they appear on a Picture Gallery page in just two steps. Picture Gallery pages show a grid of thumbnails that visitors can click on, skip through like a slide show, or expand to full size. The Picture Gallery can be customized by number of columns, size of thumbnails, and you can add captions to the pictures.
About Page
This page can have a little background about your business - the history, the mission or purpose, and as always, some pictures of your business can add a lot of impact.
News Blog
If you want to post new information (news about your company/industry/products/services) at least once per month, you can use the News Blog. It organizes your news by date and is optimized so the information you add will be easily picked up by the search engines. You can now add a subscription feature to your Blog so visitors can sign up to receive updates by RSS or Email!
F.A.Q.
The F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) page gives just that - answers to common questions. This can save you a lot of time answering the same questions all the time by telephone or email. Visitors can find the answers they want right away, or you can refer people to your website for these answers. |
Information Page
An Information Page can be more information about a product or service. It's made up of paragraphs, pictures, lists, or charts.
Catalog
The Catalog is used for organizing product or service information into sections. If you have about 250 words or more about a particular product or service and more than one picture for each, the Catalog works great for organizing your information. Visitors can navigate through categories and sub categories, view items of information and click on thumbnails of pictures to see a larger version. The Catalog also supports ordering. Visitors can add items to a Shopping Cart, select options, choose quantities, and even pay for an order by credit card - integrated with Paypal.
Links
A website can have links on any page, and a Links page can be used to provide a summary of all of the links throughout your website, or to provide specific links to find more information about related businesses, suppliers or distributors. A nice touch for a links page is to display the logo of the the website you are linking to.
Events/Schedule
An Events or Schedule page can have a list of upcoming events, or the information can be organized into a table. Each event can link to another page with more detailed information. |
Testimonials
If your customers tell you that you did a great job, share it with the world. A Testimonials page is a great way to personalize your company. A Testimonials page can give a lot of credibility to your company. Instead of hoping that visitors take your word for it that you have a great company, let them find out for themselves by reading what your customers have said.
Price List
A Price List is a chart of items and prices with an optional description and thumbnail link to a picture. It can work great for parts lists, a restaurant menu, or a list of services when you don't have enough information to make use of the Catalog feature.
Form
A Form is great for collecting specific information from a visitor or customer through your website. The form can be customized to have up to 50 fields (short text, long comments, drop-down options, check yes/no boxes, and dates. You can also accept payment through a form - integrated with Paypal.
Facts
A website is supposed to give information to the visitor, and the more informed a customer is the better a customer they are. Share your experience with the visitors to your website and let them know that you know what you're talking about. A simple list of Facts can inform visitors what they probably don't know and clarify misconceptions or misinformation about an industry or a service. |

Meet Our Staff
Putting a face to a voice can put customers at ease. A Meet Our Staff page can list staff bios, credentials, contact information, and pictures.
Store Locator
This specialized feature uses Google Maps to show visitors where your stores, distributors, dealers - or whatever - are. Vistors can type in a location or a postal code and the results show up as points on an interactive map.
|
Videos
We work with YouTube so you can add videos to any page on your website.
Site Map
If you have a lot of pages on your website, a simple Site Map gives a visitor a point form snapshot of all the pages on your website.
